Remind me NEVER to purchase an app without first trying it out. Disappointing that this app somehow received so many great reviews I decided to go ahead and buy for $5.99 since it did not allow the option to try for free. What a waste for me! I cannot figure out why this app does not provide the ability to make tabbed note pages not assigned to a date. (Is that just me?) I found this app did not meet the hype and was annoying to navigate. I guess if it was a diary you really wanted this would work. I gave it ONE STAR because of the fact I was forced to purchase at $5.99 (and I believe that was 50% off) and kind of find this app useless. If I had the option to try a free version I would have avoided and unsatisfactory purchase. Now I have hard feelings for the developer and would not make the mistake of intentionally trying another of their products. Certainly would never "buy" from them again. Bad marketing strategy as far as I am concerned. I also did not like the functionality of the notes at all. The tabs were a nice feature among a few other things, but the pluses did not outweigh the negatives for me. This app is called "daily notes", but I wasnt really looking for a diary, rather a place to organize notes on various topics. The calendar function left much to be desired also (weekly and monthly overviews would be nice addition) and I found the app in general did not seem to pull everything together well--tasks, notes, calendar. I recommend pass this one by.
